Psychosocial Recovery Support Program

Our Psychosocial Recovery Support Program provides personalised, all-encompassing support to help individuals navigate mental health challenges, build resilience, and work toward personal growth and independence.

• Tailored Support & Coaching – Receive one-on-one guidance to develop strategies for managing daily life, setting meaningful goals, and overcoming barriers.

• Holistic Mentoring – Gain support in areas such as housing, employment, relationships, and overall wellbeing.

• Skill-Building & Capacity Development – Enhance decision-making, problem-solving, and self-advocacy skills to increase independence.

• Emotional & Social Wellbeing – Foster confidence, self-determination, and social connections in a safe and supportive environment.

• Flexible Support Options – Priced at $100 per hour for a monthly appointment. If you require more frequent sessions, let us know, and we can tailor a plan to suit your needs.

Helping young people take confident steps into employment

Leaving high school can be both exciting and overwhelming — but you don’t have to navigate it alone. X Factor Abilities offers personalised and empowering supports, working with you as you embark on this new adventure into employment.

Our Services:

1. School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES): SLES is an NDIS-funded program aimed at assisting young people with disabilities in their final year of school or those who have recently left school (typically up to age 22). The program focuses on capacity building, helping participants develop the skills, independence, and confidence needed to enter the workforce. Supports are individualised and may include work experience, job site training, travel training, and other activities that contribute to achieving employment outcomes

2. Support on the Job: We provide ongoing assistance to help individuals maintain employment. This includes workplace mentoring, assistance with understanding job tasks, and strategies to navigate workplace challenges.

3. Employment Assistance: Our team offers support in job searching, resume writing, interview preparation, and connecting with potential employers. We aim to empower young people to find employment opportunities that align with their interests and strengths.

Eligibility Criteria:

To access our services, individuals should:

• Be participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

• Be in their final year of school or have recently left school (generally up to age 22).

• Have employment goals included in their NDIS plan.

One-to-One Craft and Art Workshops for Individuals with High and Specialised Needs

X Factor Abilities offers personalised one-to-one craft and art workshops specifically designed for individuals with high and specialised needs, including those with complex physical, cognitive, psychosocial, or healthcare requirements.

Workshops are facilitated by experienced professionals who understand the importance of tailored engagement. Activities are adapted to suit each person’s unique abilities, communication styles, and support needs—making creativity accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable for everyone.

Whether delivered in-home, in supported accommodation, or a familiar community setting, we work in partnership with participants, their families, and support teams to create a safe, calming, and empowering space for self-expression, connection, and joy. Healthcare or support staff are welcome to be present to ensure continuity of care throughout the session.

These one-to-one workshops are ideal for people who may benefit from:

• A quiet, low-stimulation environment

• Extra time or physical assistance to participate

• Accessible materials or equipment

• A trauma-informed or sensory-aware approach
